Multi-award winning keyboardist Rick Melick has been travelling hard these past years.

And been working hard as well! Six years, and in excess of 1,200 gigs with US Blues Rock artist Joe Bonamassa gave him the thrill of seven US and European #1 CD’s and two #1 DVD’s including several Gold and Platinum Awards for “Live At The Royal Albert Hall” and “Live From The Beacon Theater.”

It also gave him the opportunity to work with the world’s best. He has filmed and/or recorded with Eric Clapton, John Denver, B.B.King, John Hiatt, Paul Rogers and Beth Hart. He has played live with Larry Carlton, Kenny Loggins, Ian Anderson, Steve Lukather, Ricky Medlocke (Lynard Skynard), Bernie Marsden (Whitesnake), the late blues greats Hubert Sumlin and Bobby Parker, Brad Whitford (Aerosmith) and Jeff ‘Skunk’ Baxter, (Steely Dan & Doobie Bros.)

In a career that spans 4 decades, iconic Australian acts such as the late Andy Gibb, Glenn Shorrock, Dragon, Jon Stevens, Stevie Wright, Brian Cadd, Doug Parkinson and Jimmy Little have all used Rick’s services on keyboards.

He has played every major festival in the world from The North Sea Jazz and Montreaux Jazz Festivals to W.O.M.A.D. and The East Coast Blues and Roots, in addition to the world’s great and historic theatre and arena stages.

A soul band that toured extensively around Australia & had a national SMASH HIT with the Robert Susz composition "Soul Kind Of Feeling" which also won the Gold APRA award for 1985. 

THE MIGHTY REAPERS (1987-2000 plus rare reunion shows when all the members are in the same town!) 

A funky blues & soul combo that recorded a series of critically acclaimed albums for the Rufus label in Australia & Terra Nova in the USA & included award winning Susz compositions such as "Bad Luck Attack", "Trouble People" & "Guess I'll Find Out Later On". 

THE CONTINENTAL BLUES PARTY (2000-today) Another down home, funky, blues & soul combo that have their debut album "On The Soul Side" nationally distributed by Vitamin Records & also available at all "Continental" Robert's live shows.
